5. What is the word stress?
6. Make a list of diphthongs with 5 examples for each one.
7. Write 8 sentences using the words you added as examples. (1 sentence for each diphthong)
8. Ask a person you don't know to read the sentences you did. Record him/her and set up the analysis.
analysis:
1. The participant says ____ so, he/she matches or dismatches the diphthong _____.
2. The stress in the sentence is appropiate or inappropiate.
3. If it is appropiate you may say that the Pitch is increasing in the first vowel and decreasing in the second vowel.
If it is not appropiate you must point it out, you must say that the participant uses the vowel ___ instead of the diphthong.
